PREFACE <br/>In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful All the Praises and thanks be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. May Allah grant His blessings and peace, upon His Messenger Muhammad (saw), His family, His companions and those who follow His path until the Day of Judgement. Islam covers all aspects of Muslim daily life such as our beliefs, actions and practices. As believers, we must have correct Iman (Faith) and Aqidah (Creed). To have Iman means to have faith and complete trust. Iman is a declaration in which the heart accepts the truth and lives with it. Allah says: "O you who have believed, believe in Allah and His Messenger and the Book that He sent down upon His Messenger and the Scriptures which He has sent down before." (Nisa, 4/136) Fundamental Beliefs of Islam details the six articles of faith which can be described as the foundation of the religion. A Muslim must believe in all the pillars of Iman with the heart and tongue. The format of this book is designed to ensure easy learning. It is structured into 18 chapters. Every chapter begins with keywords, learning outcomes and study questions. Verses and hadiths have been provided to explain the meaning of the text and transliterations are included for those who are not well-versed in Arabic. The Purpose of the Book is: To provide the readers (Muslims and Non-Muslims) with general knowledge about the six pillars of faith in the religion of Islam. .
